Ocean

Sound arrives first;
ears can see over dunes.

Light will bounce too, but
shapes may morph into something else.

Water will always stretch
as far as you can see.

Waves will curl and crash,
reassuring your heart.

Salt smells of life and
marks the water as your own blood.

Wind awakens
all that you know.

    So well put. Very nice work.

  3. I think you’ve perfectly expressed how I feel about the ocean, too. I felt refreshed just reading this. 🙂
